Tight extremity Darren Waller is coming retired of status to play for the Miami Dolphins, filling the team's void astatine the presumption aft Jonnu Smith was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers connected Monday.

The Dolphins are trading a conditional 2026 sixth to the New York Giants, who held Waller's rights, for a 2027 seventh-round pick, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Waller agreed to a one-year woody with the Dolphins worthy up to $5 million, agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey told Schefter.
