Several people were killed and multiple others injured after a vehicle drove into a crowd at a street festival in Vancouver, western Canada on Saturday, police said.
Public broadcaster CBC said the incident happened shortly after 8 p.m. local time near East 41st Avenue and Fraser Street, which is in the city's Eastside.
Police said in a statement on X that the driver is in custody.
