Thousands of motorists across the UAE will finally get some breathing room at the fuel pump after the country announced a sharp reduction in petrol and diesel prices for July 2026.The latest revision, which comes into effect from July 1, ends a four-month streak of fuel price increases that had pushed pump prices to their highest levels in years amid the Middle East conflict. Diesel recorded the biggest monthly reduction, falling by 73 fils per litre, while all petrol grades became cheaper by more than half a dirham.
Overall, petrol prices declined by nearly 14%, while diesel registered an even steeper fall of almost 17% compared with June.
