Student who died after stabbing near campus named

A student who was fatally stabbed near a university campus has been named by police.

An 18-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of his murder, remains in police custody and extensive inquiries being carried out, the force added.

A tribute from Oladipo's family, released by police, said: "We cannot begin to put into words how sad we are to have lost Khaleed."

Oladipo was in his second year at DMU and had been studying cyber-security.

The force said a post-mortem examination showed he died as a result of a stab wound to the chest.
