Strong 6.1-magnitude earthquake strikes Papua New Guinea region

An earthquake of magnitude 6.12 struck the Papua New Guinea region on Sunday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.The earthquake occurred at a depth of 114 km (70.84 miles), according to GFZ.There is no immediate reports of casualties and damage.
