Nagasaki Mayor Shiro Suzuki says ‘humanity and nuclear weapons cannot coexist’ as Japan marks the anniversary of the US atomic bombing. A memorial ceremony has been held in Nagasaki Peace Park, with ultraconservative prime minister Sanae Takaichi in attendance.
