More than 200,000 newly displaced in Sudan’s Kordofan region

Intensified fighting in Sudan has displaced at least 200,000 people in the Kordofan region since late last year, the UN has said. The war, which erupted in 2023, has killed at least 59,000 people and forced some 14 million others from their homes.
